"Success story of "Ahmed Yassin

I am Ahmed Abdel Rahman Yassin, founder of Technovate,
In the month of celebrating entrepreneurship at UCCD, I am here to share with you the story of a journey that started with a small dream and turned into a reality greater than I could have imagined. This story is not just a success story, but it is full of challenges, lessons, and experiences as an Egyptian entrepreneur who had a passion for changing the lives of young people for the better.
It all started in 2024, when I decided to establish Technovate. The idea was simple yet very ambitious: How do we qualify Egyptian youth to participate in local and international competitions, not just as contestants, but as leaders and pioneers? I believed that our youth have great capabilities, but they do not find the right opportunity and environment to develop their skills.
The first step began with forming a small team, we all believed in the same idea, and we all worked hard to turn the vision into reality. However, the first challenge we faced was funding. It was never easy to convince people that your project, which is still in its infancy, deserves support. Here, we decided to present our vision to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and after long meetings, we got their support to organize the first training camp under the name "Technovate Camp".

The camp was a hit, and more than 650 students registered. But we faced a big problem: this huge number was difficult to accommodate in one place, so we had to think quickly. We decided to completely transform the training to be online. This was a bold decision, because it presented a new challenge: How do we make online training practical and interactive?

We took advantage of the simulation platforms available on the Internet to provide an interactive educational experience. Students were able to train on programming, robotics, and artificial intelligence from their homes, as if they were in real laboratories. Partnering with technology companies was an important step because they provided training grants to the distinguished students in the camp, which encouraged the youth to give their best.

The first day of the camp was full of tension. Would the students respond? But the truth is, what happened exceeded our expectations. The students were surprisingly interactive, as if they were actually in a practical laboratory. We were able to turn the challenge into an opportunity for success, and this was strong evidence that we were on the right path.

After the success of the camp, we decided to launch the “Technovate Ambassadors” program. The idea was to select the best talents from the camp and provide them with advanced training, so that they would be ready to represent Technovate in international competitions. Today, we have five teams in five different universities, and each team is ready to participate on our behalf in local and international competitions.

The Technovate team, which started with only five people, has now grown to more than 30 people, all of whom believe in the vision and are willing to sacrifice their time and effort to achieve our goal. This journey taught me as an entrepreneur that challenges are not the end of the road, but rather new opportunities for innovation and development.

This was my journey, from a simple dream to an integrated team that makes a real difference in the lives of young people. Technovate is not just a company, but a dream that changes the lives of Egyptian youth, and helps them prepare for the future. It is true that Technovate is still at the beginning of its journey, but I believe that what is coming is better, and that we always dream of bigger.
