Qalyubia Governor and Benha University President Attend the First Roundtable for Business Owners Under the Title "Most In-Demand Skills for Benha University Graduates"
Under the patronage of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, the University Center for Career Development at Benha University organized the first roundtable under the title "Most In-Demand Skills for Benha University Graduates". This initiative aims to enhance cooperation between the university and private sector institutions, in order to improve educational outcomes and provide students with the skills required in the accelerating labor market.
The meeting witnessed the attendance of representatives from many companies and institutions, where Dr. Nasser El Gizawy moderated the discussion, welcoming the attendees and stressing the importance of enhancing communication with labor market leaders. He also explained the university's commitment to developing education by establishing new colleges and programs to meet market needs, as well as ongoing efforts to ensure the quality of education and accreditation of academic programs.
The roundtable discussed the skills required of university graduates to enter the labor market in various economic sectors, in addition to discussing the important role played by the University Center for Career Development in identifying market needs and developing training programs that are in line with these needs, in cooperation with the American University in Cairo and with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The meeting was attended by Ms. Mariam Al-Gabi, Project Director at Benha and Tanta Universities, Mr. Mohamed Ehab, Director of Labor Market Information for the University Centers for Career Development Project, and Mr. Shady Amin, Head of Labor Market Information Component for the University Centers for Career Development Project, in the presence of Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman, Director of the Center, Eng. Ahmed Ayman, Career Development Specialist at the Center, Mr. Ahmed Zakaria, Administrative and Training Coordinator, and a group of volunteers at the Center. These initiatives reflect Benha University's commitment to creating an educational environment that supports students' aspirations and meets the requirements of society, by enhancing integration between education and the labor market.
